Cycling Patrols

Today, SNT officers conducted high-visibility cycling patrols across the ward, focusing on locations highlighted through recent reports of anti-social behaviour. Patrols were carried out along Forty Hall and Lancaster Road and surrounding streets.

During the patrols, officers engaged with members of the public, providing reassurance and gathering community intelligence in relation to ongoing concerns. Particular attention was given to hotspot areas where ASB has previously been reported, with checks conducted to deter loitering, nuisance behaviour, and any associated criminal activity.

Cycling patrols enabled officers to access areas not easily covered by vehicles, increasing visibility and allowing for more effective interaction with residents. No significant incidents were identified at the time; however, patrols will continue as part of ongoing efforts to address community concerns.

These proactive patrols form part of our commitment to tackling anti-social behaviour, maintaining a visible presence, and ensuring the safety and confidence of the local community.
